I have been a front-end developer since 2019, most of it remote, building production interfaces in React, Vue and Nuxt for teams in Brazil and the United States. That is still the centre of what I do well.

What changed is where I stop. I used to hand an interface over and let someone else worry about where it ran. Now I decide what is worth building, choose the systems underneath it, and operate the servers myself — because the products I most want to make are my own, and they have to exist somewhere real.

The work is heavily AI-assisted, and I would rather say so plainly than pretend otherwise. Coding agents do a lot of the typing. What they do not do is decide what the product should be, notice when an implementation is quietly wrong, or work out why a request dies three layers below the code. That part is the job, and it is the part worth judging me on.
